Sustainability & Career Club: Established international corporations vs. Startups - what differs?

While there is an increasing number of sustainable start-ups, existing companies are incorporating sustainability initiatives into their businesses. This event will provide the ground for both sides to raise their opinions towards significance of SDG management and future trends. This event aims at giving a brief overview about the connection between sustainability and business operations.

SIHMUN: The World’s Future Simulation
17:30 - 20:00
Immerse yourself in a transformative learning experience! Be part of a team representing a government and make choices about energy and industrial investments, social development, and environmental management, among other factors, which influence your country – and surrounding countries – in the long term.

Much like the traffic jam analogy, there will be players who want to stay in their lane and others who want to advance at all costs. Some may even innovate, seeking a completely different route. The emotions in play as participants aim to resolve conflicts and achieve their goals are palpable!

In addition to having participated in an exciting game, you will have the opportunity to share your experience and your decisions with all the other participants around an aperitif after the simulation

Attention, places are limited, and we will select candidates on a first come first served basis.

Are you ready to take the challenge ?

KIC: Redefining school systems: A dive into the future of education
18:00 - 19:00
On the occasion of the 2021 EHL SDG Summit, EHL KIC is coming strong with an interactive workshop on the future of education. 40'000 hours spread out across 15 years, that's the approximate time students spend at school in a lifetime. One question arises: is all this worth it? Do we make the most of our time at school? Do the current education systems efficiently prepare students for "real life"? During the event, all participants will be able to communicate their vision on the future of education.
