    Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) and EHL Hospitality Business School (EHL) invite applications for a fully funded Doctoral student position in the fields of Organization Theory and Entrepreneurship.

    • You will work as Doctoral/Research Assistant within the context of a 4-year research project fully funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The research project lies at the intersection of the fields of organization theory and entrepreneurship for the development of Swiss breweries, and is co-supervised by Professors Nikolaus Beck (USI) and Margarita Cruz (EHL Hospitality Business School).
    • You will pursue doctoral studies at the doctoral school in the group of Management and Organizations at USI. This includes attending doctoral courses, developing your doctoral dissertation, attending conferences, among others.   
    • You are passionate about carrying out research in the fields of organization theory and/or entrepreneurship
    • You are interested in organizations’ entrepreneurial behavior
    • You hold a Master degree preferably in Economics, Management or Sociology, with economics courses as part of the curriculum
    • You have experience in using quantitative methods of analysis and knowledge of statistical and programming tools such as Stata, R (Python is an asset)
    • You are fluent in English and in at least in one of the Swiss official languages (German, French, or Italian)
