As a member of the EHL Hospitality Business School Deanship, the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs will lead the execution of academic strategies and decisions.

The Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs is responsible for all matters affecting faculty management, as this senior management position guides, steers, and supports faculty to execute our mission to pioneer hospitality management education.
  • You will support the Executive Dean in establishing the mission, the actionable strategy and structure.
  • You will support the development of a collaborative, innovative and entrepreneurial culture amongst faculty by designing the department structure, managing the team and implementing initiatives.
  • You will supervise the hiring, overseeing, onboarding and off boarding of faculty members.
  • You will lead the portfolio evaluation process and the faculty promotion process, especially by supporting junior faculty members in the development of their career plan in line with the unique vision of the EHL Group (overall coaching).
  • You will ensure overall equity in faculty compensation and support to execute the mission of the Deanship
  • You will lead the teams of Faculty Development and Institutional Visibility
  • You will collaborate and work closely with other Departments of the EHL Group to execute the mission of the function.
  • You have track records of successful leadership in the recruitment, on boarding, coaching and effective management of faculty or academic/related population with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute coordinated visions and strategies.
  • You have excellent team management skills and interpersonal skills and experience in multi-cultural environment.
  • For academic profiles with a PhD, an experience in a non-academic environment is a plus. We strongly encourage pursuing a research program and maintaining a teaching activity when applicable.
  • Given the unique DNA and strategy of EHL as a University of Applied Science, candidates from the non-university environment but with established experience in HR management are welcomed.
