As a Learning Designer you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our next generation learning solutions for EHL’s Programs. We are looking for an individual with proven working experience in learning design and learning technology. A background in business oriented courses is a plus.

In this role, you will support the digitalization process of our curriculum courses. To do so, you will collaborate closely with Faculty members who will provide you with overall guidance in the content of courses that will be digitalized.

  • You work collaboratively with the digitalization project team and Faculty members to ensure the efficient, timely and on-budget production of online courses;
  • You create engaging learning activities, assessment tools and compelling course content that enhances learning, knowledge retention and transfer;
  • You develop instructional graphics, media, user interface enhancements, animations, infographics and other visual support to enhance student learning;
  • You provide support to Faculty in development of video lectures to include videography and editing;
  • You review, revise and update Learning Management System (LMS) content on a regular basis;
  • You review learning materials to establish minimum quality standards for courses and develop a consistent structure for digital assets;
  • You monitor course-level use of LMS functionality and online learning materials on Moodle;
  • You resolve technical and/or design issues on an ongoing basis;
  • You coach and support Faculty in use of LMS functionality as well as state of the art pedagogical approaches for online learning.
  • You have a Bachelor of Science or Master of Arts in instructional/learning design or educational technology;
  • You have a proven working experience in instructional design with the ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts;
  • You have an excellent knowledge of learning theories and online assessments;
  • You have a good command of visual design and video software applications such as: Captivate, Photoshop, Articulate Storyline, Illustrator, Indesign, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, Camtasia;
  • You are fully fluent in English and French with excellent written skills;
  • You have good project management skills;
  • You are service and customer oriented, with high personal drive and accountability;
  • You have previous experience in hospitality industry or business-schools is a plus;
