Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne is starting to create a new strategy and culture development department and think tank to develop a purpose, strategy and culture to support the strategy for EHL Holding SA for 2035. The department focuses on defining the strategic direction and re-engineering of the school to prepare it for the future.

The People Strategy & Innovation Manager will support EHL in shaping its desired culture by acting as an expert and co-architect, making sure the right levers (i.e. organization, processes & systems, leadership, skills and rewards) are identified, implemented and acted upon in a coordinated way.

  • You will link the organisational culture understanding of today with the future strategy of EHL using various techniques such as interacting with relevant stakeholders and designing a cultural journey for the coming years together with top management.
  • You will assist in the development of materials to communicate culture & progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will map current, future and the gap of organisational talent and identify leadership development needs in liaison with the HR department.
  • You will animate the education and convert the culture the fits with the new strategy, supported by a group of culture ambassadors.
  • You will take the lead through a period of ongoing change and evolution whilst collaborating with and integrating the company in line with the new culture direction.
  • You will liaise with stakeholders across the education, consulting & strategic business sector relevant to the new strategy (such as local authorities, funders, consultants and education providers).
  • You will co-architect, analyze, design and deliver creative and innovative solutions tailored to the strategy needs in the area of organizational or process changes and business transformations, whilst taking responsibility for several change management projects within complex and potentially multi-national environments.
  • You will ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner, managing risks and reporting any issues where necessary.
  • You will maintain project budgets by collaborating with the finance and operation teams.
  • You will oversee various administrative tasks related to the project.
  • You have a Bachelors or a Masters degree in organisational behaviour, psychology, anthropology or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position. PMP is a plus.
  • You speak fluent English and French with a B2 level in German.
  • You have proven experience working with culture change in organizations with proven ability to complete projects, from start to finish, according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders.
  • You have extensive knowledge and practice of HR competencies.
  • You are familiar with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices, more specifically with MS project and/or Atlassian or similar tools.
